Sydney Development Corporation, was the first publicly traded software company in Canada. It was the first Canadian developer and publisher of computer games for microcomputers. Sydney Development Corp. was the fastest-growing public company in Canada in the five-year period 1978 to 1983.
Several games were created or translated for ColecoVision by this company like River Raid, Keystone Kapers, BC’s Quest for Tires, Wiz Math or The Dam Busters.
The cartridge of Energy Quiz was found off a flea market in Montreal (Canada) in the early 2000s by Toby Saint Aubin. It seems to be similar to Power Grabber. It was made for children play areas at Canadian nuclear power plants to keep the kids busy while the parents toured the plant.
Sydney only released one game on their own: Evolution.
